Hu Yin-Gang,Male, born on December 1967, in Hancheng city, Shaanxi Province. PhD, Professor. Graduated from Department of Agronomy, Northwest Agricultural University in July, 1990; Obtained PhD degree in Agronomy, from Northwest A&F University in July, 2000.
Research Focus
Mainly focus on the biological base of drought-resistance and yield potential, germplasm innovation and genetic improvement of wheat.
Courses taught
Genetics, plant genetic engineering and bioinformatics for undergraduate students; Crop genetic engineering and genomics for master students.
Research achievements
Participated in about 20 research projects; involved in breeding of 3 wheat cultivars, Xinong 901, Xinong 389, Xinong 223; received one award of the Second Award of Scientific Advancement of Shaanxi Province.
